For a clandestine theatre
Dedicated to T. Kantor

It’s time to start listening.
It’s time to be quiet inside yourself.
It’s time to be mobile and light, to lighten up in order to begin the journey.
It’s time to live with the wreckage and horror, to make sense.
In a short time, even the mediocre ones will say it.
But I don’t talk about inaccessible roads, risky commitments, acts meditated in solitude.
The only possible moral is the one you can find
Day by day
In your open place – secluded.
What’s the point if you save only yourself.
One must contemplate,
But also be on the road.
One must be alert, mobile,
Unprejudiced and inspired.
One nomadism, one condition,
An adventure, a process of liberation
Fatigue, one pain
To communicate among the wreckage.
One must use all available means
To find the deep moral of one’s own art.
Visible places and invisible places,
Real places and imaginary places will populate our path
But goods are goods
And their law will always be ready to delete the labour of who has found roots and looks ahead.
Past and future do not exist in the eternal present of consumption.
This is one of the horrors
For long we live with
And to which no proper answer has been found yet.
One must get free of the oppression
And reconcile with the mystery.
Two are the roads to walk,
Two are the forces that must coexist.
Politics, by itself, is blind.
Mystery, that is dumb, left alone becomes deaf.
A clandestine art to keep on being open,
Be on the road,
But leaving traces
Building sites
Joining restless travellers.
And if someone will think
One day
To draw a map of this itinerary
To retrace the places
To examine the traces
I hope that it will be done only to find a new beginning.
It’s time that art finds new ways to communicate in a universe
In which everything is communication.
It’s time that it exits from the abstract time of trade
To rebuild the human time of the necessary expression.
A stable can become a temple and magnificent remain a stable.
Not a god,
Not an idea,
Will save us all, but only a vital relationship.
It takes a different sight to make sense of what barbarically dies every day, adjusting to the convention.
And as a master says:
“To remember everything and to forget everything”.
